Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related discipline)

Responsibilities 

• Engage with internal and external developers as well as internal product and developer relations teams to demo new features, gather and define the requirements for the SDK and Developer tools
• Support engineering teams, customers, and partners using the SDK and design system
• Design, develop and test the UI toolkit components that make up the Ellucian Design System that complement the Experience SDK
• Assess and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Help to evolve and elaborate design patterns and best practices
• Write developer documentation (API docs, usage notes, process descriptions)
• Go beyond just coding and help us implement unit, visual and functional tests, and high-quality API docs, as well as participate in the continuous improvement of our development processes

Skills

• Well-written and spoken communication skills
• An open-minded, empathetic, and proactively collaborative attitude
• Experience with client-side JavaScript development
• Experience with client-side application frameworks, such as React and Angular
• Experience writing semantic, responsive, cross-browser markup
• A facility with CSS styling, along with an understanding of CSS preprocessors, such as JSS, LESS, and SASS
• Familiarity with Git and the command line
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a geographically dispersed, agile team
