Job Description:

TCS smart hiring is especially for the graduates of BCA, B.Sc. , B. Voc in CS / IT from the year of passing 2020, 2021, and also for 2022. TCS is searching for talent for his Unique Program “Science to Software”. Those who will perform exceptionally during the TCS Smart Hiring selection process will get an opportunity to join TCS Ignite – TCS’ unique ‘Science to Software’ program. Moreover, this program trains you on trending technologies and will open the doorway to a wholistic and global IT career for you.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must be a graduate in the mentioned backgrounds: BCA/B.Sc. (Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, IT) and B.Voc. in CS/IT
• Candidate must have a CGPA of 5 or minimum aggregate of 50% in 10th, 12th and Graduation.
• For 2020, 2021 Candidates should not have any pending Backlog at the time of appearing for the TCS interview.
• For 2022 Candidates are allowed to have 1 pending Backlog at the time of appearing for the TCS interview. This too should be cleared in the stipulated time to be eligible for TCS smart hiring.
• Candidate must not have overall gap in the academic years exceeding 2 years. Also, it is mandatory for students to declare the gap, if any.
• Courses considered should be only full-time in institutions recognized by the government.
• NO Experienced require as already mentioned, the job is for freshers.

IMPORTANT DATES

Location and salary:

If you have joined TCS through smart hiring or through PAN India, the salary remains the same for them i. e Rs. 1,93,152 per annum. This is your CTC which includes all the allowances.

The location for the job is PAN India and, the salary remains the same for BSc, BCA, BSc-IT, or any other graduates.

Selection Procedure:

The selection procedure for TCS Smart Hiring contains 3 ROUNDS:

ROUND 1: Written test

ROUND 2: Technical interview

Those who qualify for the written test students are called for Technical Interview. Talking about the questions asked, you can expect questions on any topic depending on the panel. To clear this round, you should be clear with your basic knowledge. You should prepare topics like Data structures and Algorithms, DBMS, Operating systems, Networking, OOPs concepts, and a programming language of your choice. They may ask you questions like:

• What is Array?
• Give Some Examples Of OS?
• What Is Namespace?
• About What project have you done?
• What languages have you used in your project?
• Java: What are exceptions?

 In addition, Students from branches other than CS should prepare for the other two subjects related to their branch. Codes writing is also asked in this round. It can also be puzzle-solving sessions.

ROUND 3: HR interview

Now, this is the final round of the recruitment process. The interview panel will ask you about your personality, family, education, hobbies, internships, general knowledge, basic HR questions like:
