What are the eligibility criteria for Agnipath scheme?

Under this Agnipath scheme, aspirants who age are between 17.5 years to 21 years are eligible to apply for this Indian Army Agnipath scheme, The recruitment will be done twice a year and selected through rallies.

When will recruitment start?

Recruitment will start within 90 days under the scheme which will bring “all India, all class” recruitment to the services.

Pay & Allowance of Agnipath scheme?

Salary Provided to Agnipath soldiers

1st Year Salary package 0f 4.76 Lakh (approx) with up-gradation of up to 6.92 Lakh (approx) in 4th Year. after completion of 4 years of service you will get Seva Nidhi package of 11.71 lakh including interest ( No Tax)

Agnipath Scheme Terms of service

1. Agniveers will be enrolled for a duration of 4 years including a training period
2. Agniveers will meet the medical eligibility conditions as applicable to respective categories/trades
3. Agniveers will be given the option to opt for enrollment into the Regular Cadre
4. Up to 25% of Agniveers from each batch will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the armed forces
5. Non-Contributory Insurance Cover of 48 Lakh
6. Agniveer Skill Certificate

What will you do after selection?

Once selected, the aspirants will go through training for six months and then will be deployed for three and a half years.

During this period, they will get a starting salary of Rs 30,000, along with additional benefits which will go up to Rs 40,000 by the end of the four-year service.
